  • questions, questions, questions!!!

hi, i have a couple of questions.

    1. I cant get my password, i get message "access forbidden" and it sais because the site could be overloaded or something, but i have tried for quite a while now.

    2. The same thing happens when i try to join seti@murc

    3. If i do join seti at work, will my current statistics and work be affected, i wont hafta restart would i!

    4. I installed BeOS version, it downloaded the data but it doesnt do its crunching work or whatever. If i leave that data, will it go to someone else, cos i know if they dont hear a reply from me they hand my work over to someone else, but they are hearing a reply from me, from windows 95... sorry if this sounds confusing, just try to help.

Try to answer as many questions as possible!!

1+2. Seti is restructuring their databases right now, so no contact to any scripts/cgi.
(You can of course up/down-load units) EDIT: Check their Tech-News pages, for more recent info.

    3. As long as you start Seti on the same account (your E-mail), everything follows you nicely.

    4. If a unit hasn't been heard from in some(?) time, Seti sends that unit, to someone else. But (and this is the important part) if/when you deliver that unit, YOU get +1 'unit submitted'.

    Hope this was answer enough.
