  • What's needed for Win95 and Seti CLI

I am trying to run Seti (CLI2.4) on a Windows 95 machine and get an error WS32***.dll(?) not found I think. I think it's to do with the NTVM and Win32 - but is there a patch for Win95 (I've heard of it before) and where do I get it.

    Thanks,

    Paul.

PS: I just hit 200WUs! Roll on 7000!

I believe it has to do with the version of Winsock you are running on Win95. Try Microsoft site for the WinSock 2.0 and above. If I find the link I will post here..

    Here you go:

    <A HREF="http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/wuadmintools/s_wunetworkingtools/w95sockets2/">http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/wuadmintools/s_wune tworkingtools/w95sockets2/</A>

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the incredibly fast reply !

I've been searching Microsoft's, Seti's and various links from Seti trying to find it and you beat me to it !

I'm going to download it now anyway (hoping that it is the right file!)

          Paul:

I aim to please my fellow Seti@MURC brothers/sisters. Go MURC! I think more than 50% of our 470 members are inactive. We need a better group effort here! Hey, Ant: How about some Matrox giveaways for incentives..
