Great job Martin. Now all we need are a hundred or so Alpha servers crunching.

    http://seti.matroxusers.com/

    Hi all,

My stats-pages have moved to a new URL (thanks Ant!):

    http://seti.matroxusers.com/

Please use this new URL; it provides all the old info, and more.

Most visible change is the fact that you can now display more days (up to 7) and more ranks (up to 200). This goes for all the stats (Murc, Club Teams, All Teams).

I'll keep updating the old pages as well for the time being, but as soon as the traffic there has decreased somewhat, I'll point the old URLs to the new site as well. Just use the new one, 'kay?

Check it out, and tell me what you think.

    Martin

Looks cool even though it does show me falling out of the top 20

Oh, and Rags, don't even THINK about overtaking me!

            How nice !

Now I start wondering if I can pass bert before he reaches the 3k mark ...

PS: Martin, could you do me a favor and generate a long time graph about MURC vs. Anand ?

We are pretty close since a while, but as long as there are more competitors in the graph, its scaling doesn't show properly how close we are ...

            What do you say ?

Martin - how about a top 20 (or something like that) for fastest average WU processing time in the past week ?

              Would that be possible ?

CHHAS: you mean like the table I've posted here a couple of times?

                Maggi: this close enough?

A 'difference graph' would be even better (maybe tomorrow), but you get the point. Pretty close.

                  Martin:
Yep that's the one, it so nice to see myself ranked that high

I'll never get into the top 50 on the regular list with just one machine, maybe I should get another.....

                    Ees,
I love the new stats, being able to see a longer trend is very nice.
Now JSB and I will be able to see how many times we pass each other during the week!

Martin, can you make a delta WU/week in the table?
It's easier to compare on a weekly basis than dayly, since server problems and cache-posters can give large differences on the dayly results.

                        2 persons, Martin

It looks great! At least now when I fall off of the main list I can still see myself

CHHAS: I dunno. I want to keep my pages manageable, so my stand is: I won't put up anything unless:

                            (1) I'm willing to maintain it. There's nothing worse than a web-page with outdated info. (Well, nothing... A close second to having a cactus up your behind, perhaps .)

                            (2) It's of general interest. Because, well, why put it on the web otherwise? I don't particularly like the prospect of having a page with "fastest mini-murcers crunching with Pentium 75's or slower".

The top-20 fastest murcers, IMO, fails on the second requirement. It's nice to see, every once in a while, but hardly requires a separate page. Why don't I just post it here every week or so?

Rattledagger: actually, I was thinking the same thing. I'll probably do that.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. Appreciate it.

                              Martin:

A weekly (or every 2nd week for that matter) posting of the list would be fine, I agree that the page should be kept as 'clean' as possible.

Oh, and once again, great work Martin
