  • How to change group?

Or rather; how to take your WU with you when you join another group. I am currently part of the alt.comp.hardware.overclocking group, but would love to join you guys. The problem is, I have approximately 860WU, and would like to take them with me. Is this possible, or will I have to start from scratch

    JMS,

No worries. Just join us here; you'll take all your WUs with you.

After you've done so, see if you're listed here.

Hope to see you soon. Welcome!

    Martin

Your personal credits are yours; no way will you loose them. That's also stated on the page: "Joining a group does not affect your personal credit statistics in any way."

You are right though: it says on the page that we (the Matrox Users team) would not receive your old credits; they would have to stay at your old team. We should only receive your new WUs.

This, however, seems not to be true: we will receive *all* your credits, unless they've fixed this (which I don't believe). I've observed this in the past when some members left our team for other teams: we'd simply loose all their credit.

Short summary: you won't loose any WUs that you've completed in the past. No way. And I'm willing to bet (who'll take the challenge ?) that we'll just receive all your credits.

Ahh, that's not fair. Editing your post while I'm answering the original copy...

Anyway: just to prove my point (too bad there weren't any betters yet):
