  • If I had a rocket launcher on my car these are the first things in my sight

    1) Cyclists (Arrogants poeple who pay nothing and think that the road belongs to them. Ignore Red lights and never look when pulling out)
    2) Bus Drivers (Also arrogant)
    3) Lorry Drivers (I'm bigger than you and your car fits nicely under my front wheel)
    4) OAP drivers (TOoooooooo Dangerous)
    5) Middle lane hoggers
    6) Fast lane hoggers
    7) Motor cyclists who use the country roads as there own race track.
    8) Got to mention taxi drivers.

    Anymore to add.

Any driver who does not see motorcyclists and the elderly, whom clearly should have had their drivers license's revoked eons ago.

Don't worry I spot the OAP's. There the ones swinging around the road looking at the nice cows in the field and then wondering why the oncoming car is suddenly stuck up the Cows rear end.
Never missed a Motorcyclist yet just see the crosses on my car. By the score of doing daft things between myself and Motorcyclists is 1:2. The motorcyclist apoliged for being a dick (Appricated) and the other guy I caught up with a few weeks later trying to kill himself again and gave him a good bollocking. Didn't seem him again. The case where I erred the police would proscuted the pair of us for careless and dangerous driving/riding if we had collided.
Oh ek why am I being so serious I was only farting around at the beginning.

The problem with most rocket or grenade launcher ordnance on cars is distance required before the weapon arms. Tamper with those safeties and you can fubar yourself.

Ever heard of Interstate 76? I think you haven't, because otherwise you would actually realize that you do not want rockets on your roof mount, you want a cluster mortar.

Or '82? Mhmmmm satellite uplink... not sure if it can target cyclist tho, I think it needs a running engine to lock on.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Problem with that is when things get up close and personal a long range fixed direction mortar isn't much use. Or when you're chasing someone at 150mph and you drive into your own mortar shells..
Gimme a 510ci Manta with 7.62 turret on the roof and the other 3 forward facing bays packed with 7.62mm MGs any day of the week.

Oh yes, the four 7.62mm combo is a wonderful choice for the singleplayer missions, but in the laggy internet environment, it's really hard to hold steady aim on someone, whereas with the cluster mortar, it's relatively easy to cover a wide area in front of the car with burning shrapnel. And, on your average Manta, you can mount four of them (note that this particular combo is VERY effective at annihilating just about anything and was marked as a cheese and consequently banned from most games).

As for my personal favourite I'd have to choose the Moth Truck, with two Firerite rocket racks in front, a 7.62mm turret (see? everyone loves these ), rear mounted Oil and Fire dropper and some kustomizing, namely Nitrous Oxide and Blower (you have to get it moving real fast) and Structo Bumpers (doubles front and rear chassis reinforcement) or Mud Flaps (10% more chassis reinforcement).

This monster, at its full speed, usually needs to hit most of the cars once or twice to crush them into flaming wreck. Everyone removes their chassis and adds more armor when they play on the net, so why not take advantage of it? Besides, I love watching the burning wrecks fly over half of the map after the impact.

                          edit: nice pic

I tried using the Moth Truck as a ram car once or twice, but I found I couldn't hit anything, and everyone else found me a real big easy target.
The turreted 7.62 had a tendancy to kill anything I was charging at long before I got there too

Unfortunately, I can't get it running on my Win2K machine here for some reason. Installer crashes
