  • LOL.. this guy over at CUSL2C.com has it right

    This is snagged from a thread over at www.cusl2c.com where some people are complaining that their later revision models of the asus cusl2 do not have the intel FWH with the Random Number Generator.. some people were talking about buying other boards and suing ASUS over misrepresentation.. but this guy put it all in context..

    <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
    Enough is enough already!!!
    Will you all please just SHUT THE FU.CK UP ALREADY?

    Get over it! The FWH is simply NOT made by Intel anymore because no program other than their own dippy little utility ever used the RNG. Since no one had found a use for it, Intel simply stopped making it and outsourced the manufacturing of FWH chips. And this whole "but it lists it in the manual" bullsh.it has to stop too. EVERY single board maker is in the same situation Asus is in. Nobody can get the Intel FWH anymore. They simply don't have time to reprint manuals after every little change. Every other board maker (including Intel's own board manuals) have the actual Intel FWH listed. Does that mean that we should whine and moan to them too? It is not Asus' fault here at all folks! Stop your bitching and if you are so insitant on quoting the manual, maybe you should have read this part that every manual in existance has in one form or another:

    "SPECIFICATIONS AND INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS MANUAL ARE FURNISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL USE ONLY, AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE, AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY ASUS."

    It is truly sad that a sh.itty little worthless random number generator put this burr up your asses. Grow up.

    I couldn't have put it any better myself!
