  • What forums do Murcers user other than this one?

    Just silly census time.
What other forums/Sites do you visit other than Matroxusers. I tend to regularly visit Beyond3d and Anandtech. Occasionally I will venture further afield when I find some snippet of info useful.

Other than this forum I generally visit GHW, MG, MHW and DAM.

Or have I missed something in your question

Seriously though, I sometimes read other forums such as Anand's, Ars', NTComp's, HardOCP (mayhem ), /.'s - that's about all that I'd count as one's I 'check'.

I browse various other forums when Internet-tedium-itis sets in

MURC rules supreme above all these others! Some good chat goes on in a couple, some are good for a laugh, and some are good for an argument! Only MURC is good for everything

        (Including love )

I'd like to take this opportunity to all those who made my being here possible tonight! Mr Pitt in particular must take some credit, also Steve, as he's to blame for the Seti team

How long has MURC been going now? And how long have you's been here? And what happened to the old forum! I can't find it anymore!

          I only visit here and the <a href="http://www.qgl.org" target="_blank">Queensland Gamer's League</a> <a href="http://www.qgl.org/?agn=forum" target="_blank">forums</a>

Don't know that any of you would have heard of them, though... :P

I used to visit 6 forums, but since I'm administrating Tweakers.net's forums, the only ones I visit frequently are The Gathering of Tweakers and MURC.

Well, other than here, I'm a so-called "Elite" member at Anandtech.

I hit [H]ard|OCP and Ars on occasion..

MURC was 5 years old last October. We will be having a belated birthday party when a few things have been sorted out

I'm often over at www.thedvdforums.com and often flick through the other big name ones mentioned here, but haven't been anywhere much recently apart from hanging around here (and our work's intranet's UBB )

The AMD board at The Motley Fool investment site.. here are the most recommended posts for the history of that board (over 50,000 posts total)

Here's the link to the boards' main page, in case that link breaks..
                          http://boards.fool.com/
Just type "AMD" into the box at the lower left hand side of the page.

Lots of computer types posting there too.. lots of very educated people who believe AMD is a great company to invest in. I tend to agree!

btw, notice any familiar names in that list there? hey.. I'm allowed my 15 minutes!

I keep a watch on Arstechnica just in case anything interesting actually appears. Same with Amdzone.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't be caught dead at Anandtech.

As of late I've also taking to watching the wide array of forums over at www.everlore.com and over here.

For the most part other forums tend to really tick me off. You know how the old saying goes, as the number of people increase their collective IQ goes down (or something like that). This is the only forum that I have found where the collective IQ is still high enough to make it worth visiting.

Only really have time for here and www.ntcompatible.com oh and sometimes at www.askme.com
Although if I've got a spare few minutes in the day you might find me anywhere!
