  • I just watched.. (what movie)?

Going against Stevie's radio listening on his big screen TV, I'd better ask you what you went off of the MURC for to watch

Series, movies, soaps, you name it.

We just watched John Carpenter's "The Thing" ( me for the 8th time )

Edward Scissorhands. Actually, I just watched it twice in a row: once with Tim Burton's commentary, and once with Danny Elfman's commentary.

Durango, it's one of my favorites too. I first saw it when I was 10.

                  Favorite quote from the movie:

                    Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

If you haven't seen it yet, all I can say is that you should. This is should definately be a top candidate for Best Picture at the Grammy's.

One amusing note, as I was coming out of the theatre with my friends I overheard someone comment that "none of the worlds great movies are in English".

                      Finding Forrester

Great, great movie. I can easily see Sean Connery getting a best supporting actor Oscar for this one. And the cameo at the end is great.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is definately good. Especially if you go with someone who knows Chinese and Chinese history and culture. Makes the movie even better.

Just about to chuck 'Pitch Black' into the DVD player and whack up the DD5.1 to annoy the neighbours.

And now, I've finished watching 'Pitch Black' - quite a scary film in places, not amazingly stunning, but nevertherless, a good way to spend a couple of hours. SteveC rating of 4 out of 5!

One movie that took me by surprise is The Boondock Saints. I never even heard of it before I snagged the DivX, and now it's in my top 5. Great show if you can deal with vigilantes killing in the name of God with some humor thrown in. Well done flick. Willem Dafoe plays the only gay character I ever really enjoyed in a movie, a gay FBI agent; he's a riot. SEE this one folks. I'd love to hear some other people's opinions on this one.
