Don't know if this should have been posted in the general hardware / major software forum but since I was told to S the F up last time I tried to help there I might as well do this one here hope you don't mind!

Actually Guru, that would have been perfectly acceptible to me if you had posted it to GH/S.

    But here is fine too

"Obviously, trying to insert an AGP card in a PCI slot and vice versa seems impossible, but might be worth a try; who knows what kind of performance we'd get out of such a combination?

        LMAO !!!

        Nice link Guru !

CPUs come in various packages, ranging from the old and almost forgotten Socket-5 used for 486 computers, up to the very latest FC-PGA socket. Whereas all manufacturers state that these are not pin compatible, we presume to disagree; they're pin compatible, it just doesn't work. Just to get this point across we'd like you to try and insert a 486 into a Socket-370 socket; with a little force (bending pins is a requirement) the 486 can be made to fit the Socket-370 just fine. Unfortunately, booting up this 'hybrid' went unsuccessfully.

          My favorite from the article:

"Using a somewhat older flash utility is the best way to go about it, as these usually have no checksum or file-version checks and can upload just about any file into the BIOS. Suppose you have a picture handy of a well-known nude model, a typical flash operation could look something like this:

          awdflash.exe rachelXXX.JPG"

The whole thing was pretty funny.
