      Yep! I voted at 7 a.m.

There was an official notice in my e-mail this morning so I did my part.

      "Official Notice

Because voter turnout is now expected to be much heavier than originally
anticipated, the polling places may not be able to handle the volume.
Therefore, the Election Commission has requested that Republicans vote on
Tuesday, November 7 and Democrats and Independents vote on Wednesday,
November 8. Please pass this along to everyone you know so that nobody
      gets left out."

I am no longer a virgin.
Finally, at age 33 (when there is an ammendment to legalize medical pot useage in our state), I have voted for my first time.

I have been perfect in my voting record. I have always voted for the loser in every presidential election.

I can at least match that.
My first vote was in 1972.
From then until 1994 I had voted for exactly one winning candidate.
                        Twenty two years.

I know, I´m from Portugal, but my opinion is Gore. Unfortunately, as the world depends on the US whether I want it or not, I think I have something to say.
Bush is old-american style, Gore seems more civilized. Bush is anti-abortion and wants Star Wars again, breaking the armament reduction pact with Russia. Here we go again...

                          GO GORE!

On the subject of voting or not voting...

is it really true that only 50 % of the americans that can vote, did? And is this a general "problem" or was it just this time?
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

excerpt from another post, another board

"Gore has political experience. Bush is a ****ing moron. "
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.
