  • MPEG1 Video Capture

I am using the Rainbow Runner Studio/Mystique 220 combo. Can anyone tell me the correct size I should be capturing at (from a video source) in order to get the best quality so I can resample it down using an MPEG encoder to VCD format with the least amount of degradation possible??

    Thanks!

    hi

there's seems to be an arguement on this. some ppl say 352x240, 352x480, or 704x480. i dont' think there is much of a noticable difference converting a clip at full screen than at 352x240. it just takes up a lot more space and takes a heck of a lot longer to convert. you should just try converting small clips yourself and see wether you can see any noticable difference, to make sure it's worth your time converting at full screen.

you can read a little more here:
