  • If I were to download a song from Napster, it would be.....?

I'm looking to expand my musical options and thought I'd start with the place I like coming to alot If you folks don't mind, I'd like to have an idea of what groups you listen to and what kinds of music it is. For Example, I've always liked Reggae, but never really got around to listening to it too much. I'm familiar with very few reggae bands, I only know such groups as Bob Marley(duh!), Black Uruhu, and that's about it!
The above is an example of why I thought this would be a good place to learn about new kinds of music especially since people are all over the world. Tell me who your favorite bands are and what are good albums and songs. For instance:

Guano Apes is a newer band and one song in particular that is really good is "Open your Eyes'. Check it out!

    Dave

I just d/led DaRude with Sandstorm. Assimilator is still trying to get it down, but he's d/ling the 10Mb version (dumb him ).

Furthermore I got the Eminem vs B. Spears mixes.

And in a while I'll upload my versions of Chris Rea, The Road to Hell part 1 and 2

There are 3 musicians I never thought I'd hear mentioned in the same breath...

Pat Metheny is good, I can do without the other two.

Some music I've been getting into is called Trip-Hop (who names this stuff?!?). Anyway, my gf and I decided to make a 'groove' (music you can just bob your head to and relax) CD with the likes of the theme from Great Expectations and found out there's a whole industry of music in that same vein.

Groups like Hooverphonic, Morcheeba, Mono have some good stuff. Very different.

(BTW, I know Don Johnson had that crappy Heartbeat song, but what did Bruce Willis do?)
