• A few general questions.

    1) what does l33t or l337 mean?
    2) What is it with the soap box and cheese? or did I need to be here when it started to understand.
    3) How can I tell how many posts I've made.
    4) Would anyone be interested in writing a few things about themselves and maybe include a picture, because although I've been here for a couple of months (used to be OzAndrew) I still don't know much about any of you, and it's always nice to put a face to the name.

    Hey, Andrew!

Now that I've cleverly derived your name from your nick , I do have some answers for you...

I was just wondering that myself. I appreciate you asking such a question. You get Extra Credit for saving the Mod from looking like a Web newbie -- Thanks!
As for The 'Box and Cheese... well, read this thread. All of it. Otherwise you lose all your Extra Credit, plus all your accumulated inklings. (Yes, that's another in-joke, search all forums for the word "inkling" .)
To find out how many posts you've made, check out Basic Forum Functions in The FAQ Files forum... it tells you a few other things you might want to know about using the forums and UBB as well... and the FAQ Files forum is quite useful as well.
We have had some such threads; OK, Listen up guys and gals, Personal Information?, and who can forget What if we all knew what the other members looked like!?, to name a few, but a new one is always welcome. You should know, though, that I generally frown on posting a lot of pictures and/or sounds in threads, they make the thread take far too long to load. But if you all are really into the idea of the MURC Photo Scrapbook thread, I'll deal with it.
After all, you know I live to serve... <snort> Yeah, right, that would be me.

          Werdna,
Didn't you have a Dungion many of us 'old-timers' raided many years ago. Of course then came your revenge. Oh, I date myself again; ahh, the days of my APPLE II. Back when it was OK (or even better) to admit you had an APPLE. Anyway...

Well... that was a fun 2 and a bit hours I haven't even read the information about you guys, I did however read the entire 8 (!) page thread. It was interesting and disgusting and all sorts of other cool long adjectives. I did get a few things out of it, I now have something to talk to my therapist about. Although I am doubting the statement that the MURC Forums are full of mature sensible open minded adults. I thought Jorden's post to you was very sweet. I can't believe he proposed through this forum, that's so cool. Anyway, must keep reading, hey, I get paid to anyway.
