  • #$%& Frankfurt watches

Why is it I have to check my 'reliable' computerclock just to make sure my Frankfurter hasn't gone off the deep end.
Every other week-end it excercises it arms, like there was no tomorrow. More the screwier it's working so damn hard to get there.

    WTF are you talking about?
    I just don't understand it...
This gives me a strange sensation.

A screwier Frankfurter that hasn't gone off the deep end excercising it's arms to get there? WTF?

    May it's because I'm Dutch.

      OH
      I get it!

      You're watch isn't working properly?

Damn, I had to read it 30 times over and over to get it. Geez, just say so the next time.

OK, maybe I wasn't too clear. It is one those watches that are synchronized with a radio signal from Frankfurt.
I was just a 'little' irritated that it's so unreliable.
I don't know anything about the technology behind it, but it doesn't seem to be worth it.

Check your Frankfurter battery, SF. I've had such a watch that would be set by an Atomic clock in Germany 3 times a day, and had to go back to the watchmaker every 6 months to install a new battery.

I finally went back and bought the similar watch without the radio-setting and haven't changed the battery in 1.5 years since
