  • Sleep deprivation, a Blizzard rant.

The Fourth o' July weekend is finally over, and now I am sleep deprived. In one four day weekend I beat Diablo II with my Barbarian warrior, aptly named Jammrock, with help from a Necro named Azurak and an Amazon named Margay. This involved staying up to the wee hours of the morning every evening, including until 5am on Tues/Wed for the finishing touches.

On the one day I didn't play D2 until the early hours I watched Fight Club, because it was 4 days late and I wanted to watch it.

I saw a great firework display yesterday, especially for a midwest city. And now I have to get back into my routine of waking up at 6am to go to work.

CURSE YOU BLIZZARD FOR KNOWING HOW TO MAKE GOOD GAMES!!! Well, maybe not.

Hope all you American had a great holiday weekend, too

    Jammrock :P

PS - Sorry if this post makes no sense, many of my few brain cells turned off over the weekend and I'm trying to turn them back on.

Here here!! I know EXACTLY what you are talking about Jammrock. I unfortunately had the misfortune of being on vacation during the on the date of release. I got home on the 3rd and found D2 waiting for me just as I had hoped (ordered the collectors edition online). I promptly powered my computer back up and proceeded to do a full install.

Oi! I haven't been this addicted to a game in quite some time... wait, thats not true, there's still UT.
Anyway, you may have had all weekend to play the game but I had to cram all that play time into less then 2 days. Let me tell you, four hours of sleep is not good for a person.

As for my 4th, I had a great time. Going on vacation and getting a hundred miles away from civilization is nice and all, but it's also nice to get back to where you can shower.

If anyone is on B.Net tonite I'll be on USEast playing as a necromancer by the name of Nevyn_MU. I pass lock my games with the same pass as the MGI server.

    I'll see you guys there!
