well, have fun, just try and make sure you can take down 1 of the new beta servers single handedly. Its ok, really!, they want to test for that stuff, so do it if you can!

      Welcome to the dance

Been playing the stress test for about 2 weeks now and the Collector's Edition of D2 is on order

PS - Once your Barbarian hits level 6 or so, restart the character. Keeps the fun alive during the 2 quests you get to play.

I would recomend password locking your games, or setting the player limit to 1. PK's are apparently running rampant. I haven't had any troubles cause I have pass locked every game I've played so far. Also, if you get any gems, just go ahead and have fun and socket them. For the ST anyway it's not worth the trouble of trying to upgrade the gems(besides which, you get really neat glowing weapons ).

Just a couple of helpful hints. Have fun!

I socketed a 3 slot 2-handed sword with 2 chipped saphires and one chipped ruby. It does 2-9 base, 3-6 ice and 2-4 fire. Even in the one-hand config it will kill almost any monster in one hit. Uniques fall in 2 or 3. That and my vampire one handed axe makes for a great killing combo. Gems are going to be FUN!
