  • Avs. Vs. Stars... your take on the outcome.

After Saturdays game it looks like the Aves may rule the Stars. But only in the past few years have the Broncs dominated the Cowboys and that is because they dominated everyone. Except last year. It was hard to believe one Man (Elway) made such a difference.

Avs. Vs. Stars... your take on the outcome.

I predict Hatcher and Matvisuck going after star Avs players with dirty hits to make it past them this year, much like last year. Let the flames begin!!!!!!!

My Avs are gonna smear the Stars all over the ice, just like they did to the RedWings.

And the Wings already tried that dirty playing stuff...they took Borq out for 2 games with knee injuries, and repeatedly hit Foot in the face (causing stitches on 2 separate nights). But it didn't help em...the Avs still took em in 5 games

Don't you find it a bit funny when Mike Modanna gripes about cheap hits when he's got 2 of the dirtiest hitters on his own team? Hatcher and Matvisuck.

What I found completely amazing was a game the Avs and Wings has a couple of weeks before the playoffs started.
It was the first NHL game on over 7 years that went the entire game without a single penalty.
Highly unusual initself....but between these 2 teams, it was a total shock

But in the end, when it really mattered, the better team is the one still in the playoffs

Poor little Lindros got a bump on the head and won't be returning, which is a good thing cause the Flyers are a much better team without them. He's more a curse then a captain anyways. Good luck in the east.

                    Go Stars Go....

I am not much of a hockey fan, but I feel the need to vote for the home team.

Well, it looks like the Stars ended up winning the series with the Avs. Not really a surprise. We are new to hockey here in Dallas, though it seems to be pretty easy to do well. I mean we have only had a team for a few years and now we are playing for our second Stanley Cup. Of course the Cowboys have gotten us accustom to this with all of the Lombardi Trophies. Correct me if I am wrong, but, I believe our second Super Bowl win was against Denver. Who rules who?
