  • The what do you see when you look out of your window thread

    This is what I see:

The pictures look quite bad because the window is filthy, and the win2k drivers don't seem to work quite right yet.

    I've added some more pics.

At home, in the room where I have the PC. I would post a picture of my clean desk but my stupid webcam needs alot of light to work properly.

I see fewer bugs than when I look inside my window thread.

What I see is darkness and a couple of lightposts. Don't even see Aurora Borealis

Ok, now that I'm home here's the view out of my window.

The plants aren't that big in our yard yet since we just planted most of the stuff this past couple weeks. There wasn't much there when we bought the house.

Hey Hunsow, what kind of fish are in the canal???

I don't know the english names for those fish Paul but there is plenty of them. In fact they often have fishing contests here, because of the good conditions.

I have enough problems with windows in my computer rather than the one beside it!

It is not what I see but what I first hear...

I first awake and hear the sounds of my wife's breathing as she lay beside me. Next I hear birds happily feeding on the abundant seeds in their feeder.

Our bedroom being on the second floor, I listen for wind, and am reminded of a passage from Chaucer, "the leaves rustled as a soft breeze blew through the trees...."

I can tell wind direction and speed by the musical notes that fill the air from the various wind chimes placed around our house.

Though I have not stirred yet our two dogs have sensed one of their masters is up and pace beside the bed, anxious to greet, and go out and be fed.

Then some jagoff fires up a lawn mower or puts their kids out to play and there goes the day! Then I see.....anger!

Nice place to live, Hunsow. Enjoy.
