Something strange that just occured to me:

Maybe some of you have the same feeling that you're always some returning number in some thread... I just posted my so-manied time as being number 13 in a post (13 replies at that, 14 posts ofcourse).

Anyone out there with the same kind of feeling?

Jord, slightly going crazy (but as long as it helps http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/wink.gif...?)

For some reason, everytime i look at a clock its at 11:11. even if the clock is not set to the right time, i always look at them at 11:11..

The number 22 keeps popping up in my life. What was really freaky was when I looked at the VIN number of my car...It's got nearly nothin' but 2's and a few letters thrown in: 2g2fv22pxv2224923. Every time I turn around, I'm gettin hit by 22 again.

I always know something bad is going to happen when I see 12:34 on a clock especially at night when I've forgotten to call my wife http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif

That's actually easy to explain. You are very likely to see clocks in many places, and every time you see one your brains catches the time even though you don't realize that.
Then, when it hits 11:11 your subconscious triggers you to actually pay attention to the time. Most likely because you expect to see the clock at 11:11.

Note that you don't need to see a clock all the time, because the brains keep time quite well.

Yes this is basically why. But its still wierd. Whats even stranger is when its a clcok that is WAY wrong. Like the real time is 3 and i look at a VCR that has the worng time, and it says 11:11. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif

The clock might be defect... http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/wink.gif

But what I tried to say was something about posting to threads here... None of you, or who else is ever going to post here, feels that s/he's always the xx'ed one to post in threads...???

But okay, other numbers that you all see are okay too http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif

Btw, Jim, either buy a good watch, or tell your mistress to back of at a certain hour http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/wink.gif

Jorden,

I feel obliged to point out that you are also usually number 7, 16, 22, 24, 36, and 90 to post in a thread. Thus you having a high percentage of 13's is hardly surprising.

My clock in windows is always wrong, even though it is correct in the bios!
