This is the ONLY reason I am still running Windows 98 Second Edition. Creative Labs just released Live!Ware for Windows 2000, yet it is a HALF-@SS buggy POS drivers. Same goes with Matrox, they released "final" drivers, yet they're half-@ss POS buggy drivers.
Why must multimedia driver makers suck so much c*** when it comes to Win2k? Why can't we just get full-on driver packages for Win2k that support EVERYTHING and more than the old POS crashy Windows 98?
motub: edited for language. "Half-@ss" retained, since it's on the title anyway, and there's nothing I can do about that. Other profanity replaced by IRC abbreviations or workarounds to retain the sense (in both the good and the bad meanings of that).
Several people are calling for the removal/lockdown of this thread, however I disagree for the moment. Everyone can make a mistake and forget that there might be children/youth reading this... we've all been pd mad at some points.
And, if you overlook the language, this is a valid Soap Box question.
So I'll cut the mini a little slack, and we'll see how it goes.
I would suggest, if he's still around, that his first order of business is to apologize to Livius' daughter and any other children (and their parents) who might have been upset by his foul mouth.
Learning to use that one brain cell wouldn't hurt, either...
