  • What is MGABG.EXE doing?

    Hi there,

I have a G200 mill. AGP and I am running NT 4.0 SP6a with PD 4.46 (display driver version 4.00.1381.4460). Every time I start my computer the taskmanager reports that the process "MGABG.EXE" toggles between 0% and 70% CPU-usage. This activity stops after a couple of minutes.

Does anybody know what this process does?

    Edwin H. Heusinkveld

BTW: The file is located in "drive:\winnt\system32"; The file version is 1.00.012.

It is NT Server 4.0 that I am using; don't know if that info is important.

You can find your answer on the Matrox forum. Just do a search with MGABG.EXE.
