I would like to say....
That this Pinnacle DV500 sucks!!!!
Wholy crap, 3 machines all clean installs of Win98se, and none of them work. On top of that the free tech support email's me .doc files on how to trouble shoot the device (knock knock ever heard of HTML?).
The most bitter pill to swallow is that i HAVE to use Adobe Premier 5.1c (not 5.0, not 5.1a but 5.1c) to capture analog files. Cant i use Vidcap32? AVI_IO? Nope, the drivers arnt even VFW, something called RAL? Which work just like WDM except WDM has more compatability.
Im sorry, this would have to be the sorriest excuse for the capture card ive tested so far. The Miro DC30 kicks this card squaaare in the nuts as far as im concerned.
