Win2k driver problem.. i Think

When i'm in multimonitor-mode in win2k some very strange things occur. When i start up some programs you see it booting. When it's finished booting the program seems to be gone. When i look in the task manager applications tab it's not there. BUT, when i look in the processes tab it is started and running. Strange...
In singlemonitor-mode this problem hasn't yet occurred.

Is this a known problem and is there "cure" for this problem.

i had this problem whenever i had maxview on and an application was set up start up maximized. maxview had been causing problems for me so i turned it off and everything seems to run fine now
