  • Difference in DVD MAX and Clone or Multi Display

    Hi there,

should or is there a difference in output quality between the different PD-options if I wan't to watch DVD on my TV.
I think there is, but should it?

And, are there any set-up options for the DVD-max option? I mean, does it automatically set the resolution for the TV?

Watching DVDs on your TV looks much better with the DVD-max option than with the dual head clone option.

You can select whether your tv is NTSC or PAL in the "DualHead" display properties form. You will want to preserve the aspect ratio based on the window size. It automatically sizes itself to the tv resolution, and that option keeps the aspect ratio correct for the letterboxed movies.

It is just a bit depressing to see how much overscan my tv clips. And my tv does not have any overscan adjustments in a user friendly place.
