After some research I found that PD 5.50 really has G200 support !!
All the files are there, G200 support has just been removed from the install.inf file...
All I did was to copy the inf file from PD 5.41 and violĂ ...
...G200 support.
They've messed around with the file locations so PD doesn't work,
but I never used it, so worries for me. Maybe someone bothers to post an updated inf file ?
Display properties report driver version 4.11.01.2500.
The driver is somewhat buggy, ( 1 crash, some missing textures in D3D) but the ICD is a drastic improvement !!
I used to have "choppy" or "jerky" OpenGL grapichs, but this is all gone now. Could it be that TurboGL has been ported to the ICD ?? (how do i check?)
Anyway: to just use the new ICD, unpack (with winzip for instance) G200ICD.dl_ to the system dir, AFTER taking a backup of the old file. To move between them is as easy as copying the right file you wan't to use...
