1- Microsoft should add the multi-output support to Win2k after the initial release - hopefully, this would be in a service pack. There is nothing Matrox can do about this.

2- In the meantime, if you want to maximize your application windows only on your monitor, you can try the MaxVIEW feature; to enable it, go to the QuickDesk Menu, select Multi Display Controls, the check "Use Multi-Display feature" and "Use MaxVIEW" - select your display, and you should be up and running.

    Hope this helps a bit,
    and merry christmas!

    w2k dualhead

    Hai,

I installed my Marvel G400/TV under w2k, but when I select dualhead I get one monitor under displayproperties and my entire desktop is streched out over my monitor and TV. Hard to read text when you're running full-screen apps. Well, yeah, it looks funny.

Is there already a way to get w2k see it as 2 independent monitors so I can use my TV just for the stuff I don't want to read?

I also can't install Videotools to watch TV under w2k, maybe someone has a suggestion?

Thanks in advance and for now, a great holiday!
