    Hi,

    I included all of these registry settings in the program basically "because they were there". I'm not sure myself what all of them do, but here's my best guess (anyone, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

    32BitZ = 32-bit Z-Buffering (3D feature)
    Anisotropic = Anisotropic Filtering (3D feature)
    AlternateFillPolygons = ? (a different fill method?)
    AutoSaveRestoreIcons = Automatically remembers your icon positions as you switch resolutions
    AutoSaveRestoreWindow = Automatically remembers your window positions as you switch resolutions
    BumpFiltering = Environment Map Bump Mapping (3D feature)
    BusMastering = PCI/AGP Bus Mastering
    ClockOverrideEnable = ?
    D3DRendering = Sub-Pixel Accuracy (3D Feature)
    DeviceBitmapsCaching = ? (some type of icon cache?)
    DisableGTF = ?
    FlipOnVBlank = Synchronize 3D buffer swapping to refresh rate (3D Setting)
    ForceBusMastering = ? (not sure how this differs from BusMastering)
    ForceHardwareColorCursor = Use Hardware Mouse Pointer
    ForceRRII = ? (something to do with Rainbow Runner add-on?)
    LargeCursor = Makes Mouse Pointer about 4x bigger
    LaunchDeskNav = Starts Matrox DeskNav at startup
    LaunchQuickDesk = Starts Matrox QuickDesk at startup
    PalettizedTextures = use Palettized Textures (3D Feature)
    PopupMenuVisible = Show Menus in visible display even if they should appear offscreen at the current resolution
    ShowMeAllMatrox = adds extra settings to the Powerdesk Options tab in Advanced Display Properties
    SynchronizeVideo = ? (sync digital video to refresh rate?)
    UseFriendlyControls = uses simplified monitor controls in the Powerdesk Monitor tab in Advanced Display Properties
    Use Region = ? (DVD region control?)
    UseTripleBuffering = Use Triple Buffering (3D Feature)
    WarnWhenSwitching = causes a prompt to restart your computer when changing color depths
    AGPFallback and AGPFlags = These control AGP transfer rate. With AGP Fallback on, AGPFlags work as follows:
    -2 = up to 4x transfers (if AGP chipset supports)
    -1 = up to 2x transfers (if AGP chipset supports)
    0 = only 1x transfers
    1,2 = rate based on a startup system test

    Hope this helps! Also, PD5 Resolution Manager does not attempt to detect what Matrox card you have, so some of the registry settings may not have any effect (such as BumpFiltering on a G200).
