Mplayer + Pdesk + pauses
Just switched from a G200 to a G400, and ever since I've noticed that whenever a 'movie' application starts (like Media Player, or a DVD player), there seems to be a short system pause both before and after starting it up.
I'm assuming that this has something to do with the drivers/OS exporting the image to the secondary display (DVDMax), but even if I switch off output to the second head I still experience this delay.
Is this delay there for a reason? It's not too annoying, and I can live with it--I just wanted to know if a newer Powerdesk would remove this, or if there is a registry key I can modify to speed it up.
