Kinda annoying way of releasing drivers?

Hello.

First of all i'm not a developer, thus having no knowledge of how drivers are made.

My comment was that it's kinda weird that matrox releases e.g. 5.30 without having support for hardware supported in previous versions of Powerdesk. E.g. Rainbow Runner, DVD-module and so and and so forth.

Now if i'm not entirely wrong, it should'nt be too hard to just keep the "other hardware" code intact and tweak with other code.

The DVD module had not been compatible with any 5.x drivers. Seems to be related to the Zoran software and not the drivers.

Rainbow runner G should work but have not been tested... you can't mark it down when you are not sure...
