  • installation question

    okay, here goes:
I'm trying to install mystique 220 onto my computer (windows 98), and while the installation process seems to be successful, the display properties don't reflect that. The power desk icon in the control panel says that the installation is not complete. Any ideas? I installed using the latest driver from the matrox site.

Try downloading the uninstall program and doing an uninstall of the drivers. If you're upradeing from a different video card you might have to do the same thing, make sure you don't just install new drivers. You have to uninstall old ones first. If the setup program continues to not work, try doing an update driver from the display settings, it will still install the powerdesk program.
