This is a hex dump of the end of the G400 driver, some interesting bits of text in there like "AntiAlias" and "Use3DNow". http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif
I haven't been able to see much difference in trying them out, perhaps you guys can have a look. One I did get to work was for forcing use of AGP textures, but that screwed up test drive 5 rather badly, kinda cool playing with a white car in a snowstorm. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif

Nope, problem with mucking with stuff like this is that you never really know what format the entry is supposed to be in or what kind of data it is supposed to contain.
Matrox must be planning on some sort of control panel for those things though, otherwise why would they exist?

I am still wondering why strings are used instead of DWORDS. Odd choice. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif Only reason I can think of is for the sake of an obvious "-1" for AGP settings, but that could have been 0, 1, 2 instead, would have made a lot more sense that way too, 0 for default, 1 for force 1X, 2 for force 2x. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif

Just discovered that the Use3DNow thing screws up motoracer2 if set to "1" in CPU. Whether this is a good thing is questionable. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif It probably means it's active in some way though. Whether it takes a string value or uses a logical 0/1 parameter is still unknown.

Even if Matrox is too busy talking about their oem deals in French or something perhaps someone who is working on the drivers there could spit out some info. http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/smile.gif
