    My answer to Matrox:

    ---/cut in/---
    Hi there!

Sure, no problem - im deleting them as im sending you this email.

However, I have the same opinion as someone wrote to me at irc:

    ---/cut in/---
    - Tell them, "No Way! the way you treat us "consumer level" customers is intolerable. Unless you start releasing more drivers this will continue more and more"
    ---/cut out/---

Of course I dont want to be part of any "illegal" actions - but drivers couldnt possible be protected under the laws that protects softwares ?!

Btw, if this is beta drivers etc. Why get so upset, because they came out ?

I have a small tip for you at Matrox:

At the drivers page (where "latest drivers", "Whql drivers" etc are) make a new topic "Beta drivers" - I mean, maybe you could learn something from Nvidia, Canopus etc. that lets the public participate in beta testing and therefor gets a more working/stable and speed optimated drivers.
Of course you could add a line like this at that page "These drivers are not supported by Matrox!" or something similar, and put up a forum where we the costumers could help each other.

I mean after all - first when the g200 came out, Matrox didnt care about the costumers, no ogl icd (A working version first seen in 5.1x, and its still "buggy") and the PR about "Software DVD", and then you will charge for that. I mean thats not goodwill...

You guys (and girls?) at Matrox should care more about the costumers, maybe some day we wont buy your products anymore - then maybe you will remember what you did wrong ...

    Best regards
    etc.

hmm... any comments ?! (yes, I have already sent it)...

For my opinion, and some others on driver releases, and betas look at this thread from the Matrox Hardware forum...

(and maybe you should find an English spell-checker as well )

          Hi,
I noticed that you have posted drivers for the Millennium G400 Series on
your website. These drivers were made available specifically for game
developers who were working on upcoming titles. They were not intended for
widespread public distribution at this time.

I would really appreciate it if you would remove these drivers from your
website. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or
comments. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
          Regards,
          Andrea
