  • Get the max from Your Monitor with PD5

I've a 82kHz Monitor and I think the best Resolution for it will be 1280x960, 1280x1024 is useless because of the 5:4 ratio. With PD5 it is now possible to create your own resolutions by simply write them to the registry. I've made an entry for each colordepth and copied the VideoParameters from a lower resolution to a new Key then adjusted the properties with the Monitor Dialog.
Below are the entries that work for my Monitor.

    Have Fun!

    Helmchen

I must reply ot my own message!
I've played around with this "great feature" and now I have a 1400x1050 Desktop. I think this is really the max I can get from my Moniter at acceptable 75Hz.

I love this feature and I love Matrox making this possible!!!!

Does that also mean that we could use that 1280x960 resolution given by Q2 in fullscreen ???

          That would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

sorry, Lukey, I had to ...

I think it doesn't matter what entries are made for a certain resolution, only the registry keys are important. If they were in the registry you can adjust the properties with the Monitor Settings in the advanced Display Properties they started for me always with 60Hz for a new resolution. So if you want to have a new resolution, replace the 1280x960's with your new resolution then adjust it -> ready!
