  • Severe OpenGL issues with version 5.13 drivers

I was so glad to hear about the release of a full fledged ICD from Matrox for my G200.

So i went to the site and downloaded the drivers,
read the page about doing a full uninstall of previous drivers,
uninstalled the all the previous drivers,
removed all registry entries starting with mga, matrox, and g2004
updated my BIOS to version 2.3,
rebooted my machine about five times,
    and LO AND BEHOLD...

ALL OpenGL apps die with the following illegal op error:

GLEASY caused an invalid page fault in
    module <unknown> at 0084:baa3a78f.
    Registers:

It's so bad even the Windows 3dflowerbox screen saver bombs out,
and I have to use a process viewer to kill the process.

    Any suggestions?

    What is GLeasy?
    Some 3rd party GL driver?
It's not part of Windows, or Powerdesk. Could be something you had on at some point that modified your default windows GL files...but that's what's kicking up the error...

GLEasy is just an OpenGL application written with Visual C++ that activates an OpenGL window. I was just using it to test OpenGL beacuse it only does elementary function calls. It is certainly not the issue. ALL the OpenGL applications that I run, crash. GLEasy is just an example.

Like I said, even the windows OpenGL screensavers die.
