  • SGRAM 5 or 6 ns?

    Hello!

    I have a g400 16MB SH OEM and I was wondering how to find out if I have 5 or 6ns SGRAM. Right now I am using MGA Tweak with the following settings :
    PLL = 290.25
    GCLK = 145.13
    MCLK = 193.50
    WCLK = 145.13

    SGRAM Optimization = 3,1,3,8,3,1,Fast,1,1,1,1.4,1.4

    I tried setting the PLL clock at 294mhz, but it crashed after a couple of hours of hardcore gaming (quake 3, UT, Drakan, Midtown Madness... etc...). So far no crashes at 290. I am using a super duper slot cooler and my system temp doesn't go above 84degrees Farenheit.
    (P3 500mhz not oc'ed)

    The easiest way is to look at the ram chips on the card. The end of the second line will be either "-5" or "-6" meaning it is either a 5ns or 6ns rated part.
