If you look, you'll probably notice the same thing about G450.
And why is this, when we know G450 supports OGL?

G400 and G450 used the same drivers, but G550 -not.

I guess as long as the cards are called Millennium, that all drivers will be very compatible with all cards

            Mill G400
            Mill G450
            Mill G550

When the rumours start about the new one not called Millennium, they might be true

Or a Millennium I or Millennium II! Nope, that theory on the card name doesn't hold water - not even a drop. Millennium is a product name, like VW's "Golf" or Toyota's "Corolla" - the parts are not interchangeable when the product name is the same.

Oooh labrador, that's not true anymore these days with about 4 big corporations making cars these days But it wasn't what I meant

What I meant was in a sense that all the latest Mill's are descendants of the G200/G400, thus drivers would incorporate everything for those cards. Ofcourse I could be totally mistaken, but then again, I don't test these drivers

I'm sure there are a few US makes as well that don't belong to GM or Ford (Chevrolet?,...).

Ok, the G550 does have an ICD. Happy?

Chrysler is GM. Nissan, Toyota and Honda I'm not sure about...but don't think they are 3 separate companies. Porsche, BMW, VW have various links. VW and Nissan share parts too, as do other cars and manufs. At least one of Volvo and Saab are owned by Ford I believe (exc their truck divisions).

Citroen, Mitsubishi and Mazda are probably subsiduaries of the other big boys. There are only a few 'big' corps left anyway.

Someone will know more about this than me though - Plus it's all from my RAMBUS memory...

And those are the three biggest car companies out there.

Which is the fourth biggest ?

Answer this question and you will win a brand new Matrox Millennium G550 and a whole night of headcasting with Miss Millennium.

(can be swapped with Miss Marvel, optional)

Volvo belongs to Ford and Saab belongs to GM.

Good we got that sorted out

Fiat is the 4th I think. It's taken over Seat and a couple of former on the road race-car mfrs. Although I think they have bonds with Volkswagen, which would mean GM?

The other option is one of the French corporations Renault, Peugeot or Citroen.

As for Japanese cars, most of them fall under Mitsubishi these days.
