  • i think my MAX is broken...

    perhaps you guys can help me out with this.. im just chillin typing this to you... and all the while, my display is wiggling so very slightly in such a manner that my text looks like it has hypothermia...

    im almost definite that its not the monitor(my iiyama is in the shop)

    one main issue i fear i may have with RMA dept though is that i took off the HSF unit because i couldnt stand the sound of the whining fan, and carefully mounted an old Pentium heatsink on it. I know that this is not the cause for the issues, but I dont know if this voids my warranty in any way.

    • MSI 694D Pro w/ BIOS 1.6
    • 2x800E cC0 Pentium 3 w/ 2xVolcanoII

    • nVidia Quadro2 Pro, but Matrox at heart
    • And other non-important stuff like hard drives and a dvd drive

        No, you won't need any receipt. You will get an RMA with little hassle. Just post up your problem at Matrox's tech support forum and don't mention this thread or the fact you messed with your fan.
