powerdvd + win2k + G450 32mb dualhead + high res = no workie!

Anybody get Powerdvd to work in high res with the newest Win2k drivers? It comes up with "display res not supported" or something like that, I know it has something to do with overlay..but why the heck does WIndvd work just fine at my resolution? (1280x1024x32@85hz).

I usually have to bump down the resolution, color depth , refresh rate just to run things with PowerDVD. I prefer that over Windvd and the Matrox player because it runs smoother and the audio is better IMHO. Thanks in advance..
