  • ow !!! it's hot

if you look at your g400 from the side of the heatsink on the core, and then look to the left there is another heatsink, very small, but also very hot. does anyone know what this is, and has anyone put a larger heatsink or heatsink and fan on it? i think this may affect the overclocking potential of the card so please could anyone help

    cheers roadie

That is the Maven chip, which is the output for the second head.

So it's just a RAMDAC, Kruzin?
Cooling this chip won't help overclocking ability, then?

It's more than just a ramdac.
But no, it should not affect overclocking AFAIK...
