NT4 OpenGL screensavers crashing after CPU upgrade...

Not sure whether this is hardware or software category, anyway, after upgrading from P2 to P3 I have this problem. Whenever opening the 3D Text or Pipe or Flying Objects Screensaver I get a Dr. Watson. Interestingly the Maze and Flower Box are OK.

Other OPenGL applications seem to work. I upgraded the Powerdesk to 4.73, then to 4.77, then I replaced G400ICD.DLL with version 2.10.013 (from the Win9X 6.50 driver) but no avail.

This is not really critical for me, but does anybody have an idea?

I had a problem once going from a P3 to a P3 coppermine with no other changes.

Turned out the SB Live! drivers were causing it. I uninstalled them, cleared the configuration data in BIOS, reinstalled the Live! drivers and everythig was OK.

Its worth a try if you have a sound blaster. Probably something to do with SSE extensions.

Thanks for the tip, I installed the latest Soundblaster drivers, but (not entirely unexpectedly) it had no effect.
