Multiple consoles on multiple monitors in Linux

Hey,

I'd like to have multiple consoles, on 2 monitors, in Linux, without using X-Windows. How can i accomplish this? I have a Matrox G450DH. Right now it just displays the same image on both monitors, so i'm seeing everything in stereo. Funny, but not as handy as it could be. Any ideas?
