  • OpenGL difference in Motherboard?

I have a perplexing problem. There is a program called XSmark http://www.glexcess.com to get it. The problem is on my Marvel G400-TV there is a part in it that just goes completely white. My friend, who also has a Marvel G400-TV has no problems with the openGL in it. We both have the same driver versions. The only difference I could see as far as Software was that he has WindowsME(default DirectX) and I have windows 98 (DirectX 8.0a) Both of us are using the 6.23 drivers (I even installed Win2k and the 5.33 drivers to test it on my computer and still the same result as in Win98). Any ideas? The difference in hardware besides harddrives and network cards is he has an AMD T-Bird 900 and I have a P3 850.

Well.. it probably is not an Athlon vs. Coppermine issue (aka SSE vs. 3DNow!), since I don't get the white on my Coppermine (Win2K PD5.51, BX chipset).

He has an Abit KT7 and I have an Asus CUSL2. He just upgraded to the newest Bios on his (KT7WZ) and I have the newest stable one (1006).
