  • Increased performance through BIOS upgrade ?

Just upgraded my G400`s ancient BIOS from 1.3-20 to 1.9-33. I noticed a slight speed increase in games and graphics seem to be much smooother.

Am I mad or is this plain imagination ??

I had tried bios 1.9-33 on my G400 when I upgraded to Win 2000, and crashed me a big time, so I went back to the previous one (1.4 or 1.5 -?) and it's now stable. So really I cannot tell the difference btw the bios upgrade.
