How do I disable side-banding - and why I want to.

Hi:

I would like to disable side-banding on my g400. The reason being that I'm suffering from computer freeze up when trying to run Maya. I had a similar problem on anther system when running a TNT2 video card. In this case, when I disabled side-banding everything was OK.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Do a quick search. You can't do it through the drivers anymore, but PowerStrip might help you out.

However, I will point out (as I have done countless times before) that unless you have voltage supply problems (old LX board) the issue is NOT the sidebanding, it's something else in your system.
