Buying G400Max & RR-G?

I'm planning to buy those two products and i want to know what are the problems you have found by this combination. Is Marvel's G400
TV Tuner better than RR-G's series? Am i going to have serious carture problems (like
dropping frames, bad quality, problems with drivers, A/V sync e.t.c)?How about the DVD?
Does anyone know a better video capture card
with hardware support at RR-G's price?

I have the standard G400 32MB DH with a RRG. I initially had problems with capturing, but dropping the resolution sorted it out.

I don't get NICAM sound, but that doesn't seem to be a common problem.

I get Very few dropped frames (obviously this is system-dependent). The quality is excellent, I've had no problems with sync.

The DVD quality is brilliant with the supplied player (that's with a Celeron 450A and no decoder card).

I've heard on this forum that the TV tuner in the Marvel is better than the one on the RRG, but I've no experience of this (and I can't fault the quality on mine).

That's my experience of the combo, if I had to do it again I'd buy the same setup.
