Matrox latest driver

I have problems with all the new matrox driver what can i do?

This is my system

Amd K6 III 450
Asus P5a MB
G400 Max 32 MB DH
128 MB ram

OS
WIn 98 (crash or low res low-color)
WIn 2000 (crash sometimes)
Linux Red Hat 7.0 Kernel 2.17 (Work fine)

The matrox have the g450 series for this autumn.

Well, to start with, you can delete the multiple posts you made. Don't worry, everyone does it on occasion. Just edit the post and there will be a check box to delete the post.

Ok, as for your problem, the first thing that jumps to mind is Motherboard drivers. I see that you have a P5A. I used to have one myself (still do actually). It uses an ALi chipset. You can find the drivers for your motherboard here. http://www.ali.com.tw
Download the latest AGP and IDE drivers and you'll be off to a good start.

If that doesn't work then I would geuss that there are settings in your BIOS that might need to be changed. But like I say, give the drivers a try first.

Tank you HedsSpaz. I've already get the latest agp driver from the the ali site. The computer crash again.
