If you mean Matrox's Zoran DVD software, it's still available at www.matrox.com

In the mean time you could look around for other DVD software as well.

    WinDVD 2000 for example
It's a bit too big to put on my homepage, so sorry, can't give you a link

        I believe it's <a href="http://www.ravisent.com" >Ravisent</a>'s CinePlayer 2000 Matrox purchased and will be bundling with the G800.

Ravisent isn't selling their player to end users, only license it to OEMs. ELSA is one of them and they are also selling a standalone version for Euro 15.29 (plus 13.80 for shipping..):

        <a href="http://www2.elsa.com/www/snapshop.nsf/documents/specialsen?opendocument#Anzahl5" >DVD player ELSAmovie 2000, version C- 2000 (Art.No. 836)</a>
optimized for ELSA VICTORY II, ELSA WINNER II, ELSA WINNER III, ELSA ERAZOR II, ELSA ERAZOR III, ELSA ERAZOR III LT, ELSA ERAZOR III Pro, ELSA ERAZOR X, ELSA ERAZOR X2, ELSA Synergy II and ELSA GLoria II. other graphics cards: ATI RAGE IIc, ATI RAGE PRO (XPERT 98), ATI RAGE LT PRO (MAGNUM), ATI RAGE FURY (XPERT 2000), Creative Labs Banshee, ASUS 3800, ASUS 3800 Ultra, ASUS 6600 GeForce256, Diamond Viper II (Savage 2K), MATROX G400 (16MB SH), MATROX G400 (16MB DH), MATROX G400 (32MB SH), MATROX G400 (32MB DH), MATROX G400MAX, STB 3DFX 3000 AGP, STB 3DFX 3000 TV Orders from abroad plus 13,80 Euro shipping costs.

        If that's too expensive for you click the ass. <a href="http://194.87.240.153:80/prv/Ravisent/Ravisent_Cinemaster2000_FINAL/Elsamovie2000.zip" ><img src="http://members.tripod.lycos.nl/awpost/smileb.gif" border=0></a>

                Hey Matt:

If you can stand another couple of weeks of waiting, M has (I believe) cleared the way for a new Ravisent Cinemaster2000 CD to be made available through their online store for "Shipping and Handling" only.

It is my understanding that this will be only available in hard copy form on CDRom. Since there are so many different legacy software bundles out there, this was determined to be the only reasonably foolproof way to provide a functional update to all of their longsuffering customers, since posting 4 updaters for 4 different bundles would guarantee some confusion and anger--even more than is there now.

Check this thread over on the official forum.
                http://forum.matrox.com/mgaforum/For...ML/001156.html

No comment on WHY it took so long to get to this simple solution, but I beleive it is also safe to say that one of the reasons for the delay had to do with some "higher" Matrox personnel who have recently quit.

My guess is that you'll see several support releases in fairly short order (the latest driver release for example), as a result of some of these personnel changes.

Of course, this is just "speculation"

If you just can't wait, the link above to digital digest is for a reasonably functional, (although beta) version of Cinemaster2000, that should work fine. (It does on my rig--although I'm not running W2K)
Greebe's juiced up Athlon @750 on an MSI Irongate Based M/B Marvel G200 TV with HW/DVD Daughtercard,
CDBurner, Creative DVD, two big WD Hdds, Outboard 56K modem
Parallel Port Scanner, Creative S/B AWE 64 (ISA), and a new Logitech WebCam (My first USB device)

If you look hard enough on digital-digest you shall see a hmmmm, properly functioning version of Cinemaster 2000, if you get my drift.

I wonder why is it that every time I post a clickable smiley no one seems to notice it?

No matter how hard you look on dvd-digest, that's still the old one.

ELSA's C-2000 release is much newer and better. Only problem it has is the ELSA logo. I can't wait to get a nice Matrox badged version.

I don't know if someone has seen it, but whith the ELSA-Cinemaster you are able to minimize and even hide the video window while the Movie plays happily on the TV :-)
Although it played only half of my DVDs. The other ones showed only a black window.
