  • Help with DVDMax output to monitor

Updated Bios (1.6 - 25) and installed new drivers (6.10.013) for G400 but can't seem to get DVD Max to output to my second monitor. Isn't this supposed to be supported with new drivers?

DVD Max works fine (as before) with output to TV.

Clone and Multi-Display also works (No Zoom though)...

    Any suggestions?

Should be working as long as the player use overlay ...

What do you actually playback ? DVD ? Divx ? MPEG ? Which player ?

Also, did you use the uninstaller to get rid of previous drivers ?

    Cheers,
    Maggi

      Thanks for the response.

I did use the uninstaller before reinstalling the new drivers.

I've tried using the Matrox supplied DVD player (Cinemaster but not sure which version), PowerDVD 2.55, and a recent version of WinDVD to play DVDs.

      What else could I check?

        Ooooops!~
It's exactly the same problem with me~
clearly, the release notes say DVD MAX to 2nd RGB monitor supported and it made me CRAZY!
but it's nothing to do with me. T.T
uninstalled old drivers(6.04) with uninstaller by Matrox.

I thinks this's a trivial berg which may be fixed in a soon day.
after I'vd read some articles about the uses of DVD max to 2nd monitor, I realized the only difference I had was an operationg System.
now I've installed windows 2000 pro.
and It works well...^^ now everything is ok.
