Got it and checking it over the next few dayz......man, this was the only thing holding me back from the big switch on this machine.....goodbye M$ !!! Now I'm free! FREE!
Check another site @ http://ltiwww.epfl.ch/~dbarth/dvd/ , linked from DVDSoft.

And here I was thinking people had forgotten about the G200 DVD module. Oh, thats right, it was MPAA giving Matrox a lesson in taking one right up the butt, despite customers getting a chop up the clacker as well.
Oh well, all is fair in Love, War and Computers.

      Cods:

Next thing to look for is source code (if possible due to MPAA)...since the module is an orphan.

Why not post in over at the official T.S. forums and make the request for what source code they can provide. Do this on the DVD and TV Out forum...and don't expect an answer right away, but I have a feeling that someone is watching.

        Correction

You can try posting it in the Tech Marketing forum if you like as the tech supp forums are only for troubleshooting.

          Go Here:

Make a request for open source code. BTW I wouldn't expect a quick response...someone is hiding, (Tech_Marketing) but the thing about forums is that they are out there for EVERYONE to read.

Just keep it reasoned and businesslike and hope for the best.
