  • Powerdesk Versions

    Hi Guy's
Just a quick question regarding Powerdesk .... and if this topic has recently been covered my appologies.
I'm currently using version 5.41 with no problems or hassles and just wondered if there is a performance gain to be had with the later versions - 5.52 or 6.04?
If I can just squeeze a few extra FPS out of Quake ....... ;-)

    Cheers,

    Alan.

I dunno about performance gains, but the ICD included in 6.04 is substantially newer and better than the one you're using. I don't count FPS.

      Hi Alan
I recently moved up to PD 6.04 from PD 5.41 on my G200.The FPS in Quake3 shot up by more than 10 fps!! The new 6.04 ICD is definitely faster.
      Cheers
